Objective
The primary objective of this scheme is to:
- To recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of state scientists and researchers to the development of science and research.
- Through the prestigious TANSA award, scientists are acknowledged for their achievements across ten disciplines: Agricultural Science, Biological Science, Chemical Science, Engineering and Technology, Environmental Science, Medical Science, Mathematical Science, Physical Science, Social Science, and Veterinary Science.
- Each award includes a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a citation.
