QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OF SCIENCE EDUCATION IN RURAL SCHOOLS

Inservice training is provided to school science teachers who are handling the Science subjects of 6th to 8th standard. This will help to update their knowledge on the current syllabus and new developments in science and technology, which enable them to teach well. This programme is being conducted for a period of five days. During the training equal importance is given to practicals to learn and understand effectively, so that they will understand the concepts very well. Every year this programme is being conducted in ten districts.
