SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CAPACITY BUILDING FOR INDUSTRIAL NEEDS

Objectives of the scheme are to enhance the employability of students so that they are acceptable to industry and to reinforce the student’s skills and acquire industry specific knowledge from trained faculty and experts from industry.The Programme will enable the student Community to acquire skill sets relevant to industries and motivate them to opt for self employment by arranging orientation, Training and motivational programmes. This Programme helps the final year students of Engineering and Polytechnic students from rural areas to get their employment, to become entrepreneurs, and also to start the small scale industry. 15 such programmes were organised every year. The programme being organised with the active collaboration of industry people like HR managers, people from industry training centre, banking personal and DIC officials.
