INNOVATION AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

The idea is to understand the basic concepts around innovation, contribute to development of a culture of Innovation and prototype/Product Development among the youth. Identified Innovation may be supported by technical/ infrastructural support, assistance in preparation of feasibility report and Interaction with people from industry (if need); appreciation of intellectual property protection and collaboration with Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. Objectives are to recognize the creative, novel and innovative ideas from grass root level, student and other member of society as innovators and connect them to the formal R&D, educational and industries, to explore innovative ideas, methodologies and product development among innovators, to provide a platform for students, teachers and other members of society to showcase their skills by creating new innovations/and products and to create an interdisciplinary community of innovators and facilitate understanding of all aspects of innovation and product development. The selected innovation may be provided with financial support of Rs.50,000/- to 1,00,000/-.
